• tracing and recovering millions of pounds of company assets misappropriated by the company finance director. The defendant was also ordered to pay our client’s legal costs. (High Court)

• defending a complex breach of contract and negligence claim on behalf of a money exchange business. This involved careful analysis of the currency exchange and transfer of hundreds of thousands of pounds sterling through numerous banks and financial institutions in the United Kingdom, Far East and Asia. The claim was ultimately dismissed and the claimant ordered to pay our client’s legal costs on an indemnity basis. (High Court)

• claiming for breach of a building contract on behalf of a London based charity. The claim was settled following mediation without the expense of going to trial.

• bringing a claim on behalf of one of the UK’s largest wholesalers for breach of contract against a supplier - a large telecommunications company. The case concerned the timing of a price change on the part of the suppliers which adversely impacted on our client’s profit making opportunity from the purchase of millions of pounds of stock.
